Cristiano Ronaldo and Travis Kelce (Agency Image) Cristiano Ronaldo and Travis Kelce have both built commercial empires well beyond their playing careers, yet the money involved tells two very different stories. 2 billion.

Kelce, by comparison, is valued at $90 million. 11 billion.

Ronaldo's billion-dollar riseRonaldo crossed into billionaire territory in June 2025 after agreeing a contract extension with Al Nassr, one that is among the most lucrative in sporting history. His salary there is put at $224 million a year, and once endorsements are folded in, his total annual income for the 2026 World Cup year is estimated at around $300 million.

(AP Photo/Armando Franca, File) Salary alone barely scratches the surface, though. The CR7 brand now stretches across hotels, fitness and fashion, among other ventures, built up over years of parallel investment alongside his football earnings.

His relationship with Nike matters here too: Celebrity Net Worth cites a reported $1 billion lifetime deal as one of the anchors of his overall wealth. Add it all up and, by the time he eventually hangs up his boots, his career earnings from salary and endorsements combined are projected to comfortably clear $2 billion.

Kelce's $90 million storyKelce's path looks nothing like it. 2 million in salary and bonuses.

2 million if he sees the season through. For this year alone, he's guaranteed $12 million in cash from Kansas City, with incentives capable of lifting his total compensation to somewhere near $15 million.

Football is no longer the whole picture for him, either. Television work, endorsements, investments, and above all his podcast " New Heights", co-hosted with brother Jason, have all added to the ledger.

Then there's the Taylor Swift factor: since the pair started dating in 2023, Kelce's profile has exploded well past the usual NFL crowd, and with it, the commercial opportunities have followed. 11 billionKelce has pulled in more than $111 million from football wages and bonuses alone, which by any normal standard is a serious fortune.

Set against Ronaldo's number, though, it's a fraction. Most of that gap comes down to time and scale.
