Nepal Seeks Climate Compensation from India, China, and US

GUWAHATI: Nepal has sought climate compensation from India, China, and the United States following devastating flash floods in the country's Rasuwa district.
Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal stated that Kathmandu is shifting its approach from merely seeking aid to demanding climate justice.
According to Khanal, Nepal's greenhouse gas emissions are "practically negligible," yet the nation continues to bear the brunt of climate-induced impacts.
