INDONESIA — One person has died and 172 people were rescued after a ferry caught fire in Indonesia.

The incident has raised fresh concerns regarding overcrowding after a similar fire occurred last month. Official records showed that only 131 passengers and crew were listed on the ferry's manifest, despite the higher number of people rescued and deceased.
