Among the companies whose projects and issues came up for review were Ambuja Cements, Star Cement, Dalmia Cement, Adani Power, SJVN Green Energy Ltd, Hinduja Group, Greenko Energies Pvt Ltd, NEEPCO and NLC India Renewables, among others. The Chief Minister held detailed discussions with company representatives to understand challenges affecting the timely execution of their projects.
He directed the concerned departments to take prompt and coordinated remedial measures to resolve the issues raised and facilitate faster implementation of the committed investments. “Just finished an exhaustive meeting with industry leaders to discuss their issues and the plans ahead.
Every industry & their requirements have my personal attention as we move ahead in an environment of #EaseOfDoingBusiness,” Sarma said in a social media post. The Chief Minister also directed the PWD (Roads) to ensure good-quality road connectivity to project sites wherever required, so that inadequate infrastructure does not impede industrial and investment projects.
